Membership is voluntary and the reasonable annual dues are a recognized business expense. The Hendersonville Merchants And Business Association is comprised of individuals, firms, associations, companies, corporations, and partnerships which are located in or near the Hendersonville trade area, and is dedicated to the development of trade and commerce to meet the needs of the community by supplying goods and services of the highest quality and integrity.Back to the top
Promotions
Seminars, NC Apple Festival Window Displays, Area Individual Promotion Services (upon request), Cooperation with Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Hendersonville, Inc., and other local groups in community projects, Christmas Parade (1st Saturday in December), Monthly Morning Business Update, Share the Magic Parade Day, and Promotions to Benefit the Henderson County Children in Need. Organization
Officers and directors are elected by the members to serve without compensation. These officers and directors direct the operation of the Association. All members may make recommendations and suggestions for consideration for action by the Association.Back to the top
Contributions
Through its concentrated efforts to improve and develop thriving retail trade in Henderson County, the efforts of the Association assist in maintaining the community's tax base.Back to the top
Involvement
The Hendersonville Merchants And Business Association studies and analyzes business problems, develops solutions and takes action for making the community a better place in which to live and do business. It works closely with local organizations and government on all levels for the betterment of the community, addressing situations such as parking, traffic, safety, zoning, sanitation and crime prevention. Through well-planned trade promotions, it works toward attracting more business to the area.Back to the top
